A lighter and stronger take on underwear, we created the fabric with plenty of nylon for strength, modal for softness, spandex for stretch, and SilverAir yarns for odor resistance. The knit structure of the fabric is open and breathable, and works very differently than our Merino Wool Underwear. Instead of pulling moisture into the core, it wicks it away. While the anti odor performance will not be as effective as our merino products, it dries faster and can be washed and ready to wear within a few hours. This product does not feature the SmartGrip System found in our Merino Wool underwear; otherwise, the construction and components are identical.
We offer offer free returns and exchanges within the U.S. on all concept products (except for underwear and socks which are not returnable once opened). However, because we make concept products in limited quantities, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to decide if you want to keep the product or initiate a return.
I've owned a number of premium underwear brands, including Y's own SilverAir Merino variety. The fit of these is pretty much the same, which is to say it's very good. Enough support for workouts and HIIT, but not too much so that it's still very comfortable to wear as a daily driver. In fact, they are one of the most comfy boxer briefs I've ever worn. Compared to the merino underwear, these are a lot lighter and airier. The merinos are great to wear as travel underwear, as well as for gym days. These new ones would be equally good for gym days, but I'd feel a lot better about running in them since they're so much lighter. I can't attest to the durability of these yet since they're brand new, but because they are so thin and light, I hope they hold up as well as some of my other premium activewear. We'll see! Otherwise, highly recommended.
These are becoming my favorite go to boxer briefs for summertime. They're better than any other brand I've tried including saxx, which was my previous favorite for this season. Please make more in all sizes as during the trial. Thank you.
Very comfortable and stays in place. I have several pairs of the Merino wool boxers (long leg and regular length) and while they are very comfortable, their thickness keeps them from being in my regular rotation. The silver air boxer is excellent in terms of comfort and weight. I have used them a few times in the past couple of weeks. I understand that they are just a test product but one of the two pairs I have a small piece of fabric on the back of the waistband come loose (it's the piece that wraps up and over the back of the waist band to cover up a seem). While it does not effect the underwear it is hopefully something that will be improved upon. If they can improve on the durability and also offer a long leg version (or just make them maybe an inch or two longer) I would purchase several pairs for my regular rotation immediately.
I own a lot of their socks, shirts, as well as underwears. I gave this one a shot. Keep in mind the price tag was $26 a piece. So, the good is that it's really comfortable. If you're looking for a thin boxer that's really comfy, this is it. The price speaks for the quality. Definitely good for summer / sweaty situations (like working out). Unfortunately, the durability isn't there. I've only worn it twice, and on the back side, there are 2 small piling spots, and one of them seems to almost make a tear. Other than that, it's one of the most comfortable boxer I've ever worn!
Fit is perfect and very comfortable. I like them better than previous version, fit, material, and i appreciate adding the fly. I will likely buy a couple pairs if they stay on the lineup.
